The preparation method of the modified machine-made sand comprises the following steps: S1, placing the machine-made sand in a rotatable steel cylinder, and rotating for 3-5 hours; s2, transferring into a rotatable rigid polyvinyl chloride cylinder, respectively arranging a plurality of spray heads outside the rigid polyvinyl chloride cylinder, respectively spraying machine oil and furnace ash to the surface of the machine-made sand, and rotating while spraying the rigid polyvinyl chloride cylinder; and S3, the rigid polyvinyl chloride cylinder continues to rotate, redundant powder is screened out, and the modified machine-made sand is obtained.
