The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing 5-15 parts of carboxyl type water-based soft and hard emulsions with different glass transition temperatures, 1-5 parts of a cross-linking agent, 20-40 parts of calcium powder, 30-50 parts of quartz sand, 0.5-5 parts of crude fibers and 5-15 parts of water in proportion, and baking at 50-100 DEG C for 2-5 hours to obtain the emulsion mixed cross-linked soft porcelain. The soft porcelain prepared by adopting an emulsion mixing technology integrates the characteristics of two emulsions, and shows excellent flexibility while being endowed with certain hardness; on the other hand, a carboxyl crosslinking agent is introduced into a formula system, so that soft and hard emulsions are mixed and crosslinked to form an interpenetrating network structure, the molecular cohesion is improved, and the technical problem that the water-based emulsion is sticky in hot and crisp in cold is solved. The preparation method is simple, low in cost and suitable for industrial production. The soft porcelain produced by the method has excellent flexibility, high hardness and excellent weather resistance.
