The invention discloses a profile steel beam hoisting construction method and an auxiliary device. The method comprises the steps that a limiting structure is welded to the end of a horizontal beam section of a profile steel column; gusset plates with screw holes are rotatably mounted at the two ends of at least one side of the section steel beam; at least one pair of stacking plates is welded to the tops of the two ends of the section steel beam to hoist the section steel beam; rotating the gusset plate, fixedly connecting the section steel beam and the horizontal beam section by using a high-strength bolt, cutting a second side steel plate at the lower flange of the section steel beam, and fixing the steel plate on the upper flange of the section steel beam by spot welding; welding a lower flange welding seam of the section steel beam; welding upper flange welding seams of the section steel beams, and cutting the stacking plates. The gusset plate is rotatably connected to the section steel beam, meanwhile, the limiting structure is welded to the end of the horizontal beam section of the section steel column, the stacking plates are welded to the two ends of the section steel beam to assist in positioning, fixing and welding of the section steel beam, operation is easy and convenient, the workload of operators is reduced, construction is safer and faster, and obvious economic benefits are achieved.
