The invention relates to a recessed pivot hinge (1) for hingedly fastening a door leaf (2) in a door frame, comprising a pivot (3); the pivot (3) is assembled in the matching sleeve (4) in a height-adjustable manner; a slot (5) which can be fastened in a door frame in a recessed manner or forms a part of the door frame; and a fastening body (6) which is recessed into the door leaf so as to be fastened in the door leaf (2); wherein an end (24) of the pivot (3) is pulled into the slot (5) using magnetic elements (22, 77) of the pivot (3) and of the slot (5); and wherein the mating sleeve (4) is fastened in a fastening body (6) such that it can be adjustably displaced in a first direction (X) transverse to the height direction (Z) and in a second direction (Y) transverse to the first direction (X) and transverse to the height direction (Z).
