The prestressed reinforced embankment structure comprises a plurality of layers of geogrids which are arranged in a tiled mode, and a filler layer which is compacted according to construction requirements is laid between every two adjacent layers of geogrids; the prestressed component is integrally columnar and vertically penetrates through the geogrids and the packing layer, and an anchoring piece is arranged at the lower end of the prestressed component and located below the geogrid on the bottom layer; the upper end of the prestressed component penetrates through the geogrid on the top layer and is provided with a locking mechanism which can move downwards and extrude the geogrid; and the prestressed members are uniformly distributed in the geogrid and the filler layer. The prestressed reinforced embankment structure disclosed by the invention has the advantages of outstanding settlement deformation control performance, capability of avoiding stress concentration, relatively good flexural rigidity and the like; and the construction method of the prestressed reinforced embankment structure disclosed by the invention has the advantages of easiness in operation, capability of repairing the embankment as soon as possible to meet traffic requirements and the like.
