The invention provides a working platform for building the interior of a large-diameter ultrahigh chimney and a construction method, the working platform comprises a fixed supporting platform, the top of the fixed supporting platform is provided with standard knots, and a plurality of standard knots are detachably connected to form supporting frames with different heights; the end, away from the fixed supporting platform, of the supporting frame is detachably connected with a movable supporting platform, and the bottom of the movable supporting platform is connected with a telescopic operation platform through a lifting mechanism. The telescopic operation platform is of a variable-diameter structure which is annularly arranged outside the supporting frame and detachably connected with the supporting frame. And a hoisting mechanism is arranged on the movable supporting platform and is used for hoisting the standard knots and the masonry materials. According to the telescopic operation platform, the height and the radial size of the telescopic operation platform can be rapidly and simply changed, material transfer is achieved through the hoisting assembly, and the construction efficiency is greatly improved.
