The invention provides a pump-free geothermal energy extraction snow melting system and a snow melting method thereof.The system comprises a hot well sleeve, a perforation is formed in the outer wall of the hot well sleeve, an ascending pipe section, a descending pipe section and a geothermal heat exchanger are arranged in the hot well sleeve, the lower end of the ascending pipe section is connected with a liquid outlet of the geothermal heat exchanger, and the descending pipe section is connected with a liquid inlet of the geothermal heat exchanger; the embedded pipe is embedded in a pavement layer, the ascending pipe section, the descending pipe section, the geothermal heat exchanger and the embedded pipe form a circulation pipeline, the circulation pipeline is filled with heat-conducting media, and a circulation starting trigger is arranged between the ascending pipe section and the descending pipe section. According to the pump-free geothermal energy extraction snow melting system and the snow melting method thereof, geothermal energy is extracted to achieve ground snow melting, external strong current access is not needed, and pump-free operation is achieved.
