The gangue heavy metal curing agent comprises a material A and a material B, the mass ratio of the material A to the material B is 100: 40-100, and the material A comprises, by mass, 3-5 parts of sodium bentonite, 0.003-0.03 part of a bentonite activator, 30-50 parts of fly ash and 100 parts of water; the material B is a sodium polyacrylate solution with the solid content of 30-40 wt%, the weight-average molecular weight of sodium polyacrylate is 1200-20000, and the molecular weight distribution coefficient is 1.7-2.5. According to the gangue heavy metal curing agent provided by the invention, chelating sites are formed on the inner surface and the outer surface of the sodium bentonite through the bentonite activating agent, a strong adsorption effect on heavy metal ions is achieved, and the sodium bentonite and the fly ash are matched, so that high adsorption activity can be kept, and the heavy metal ions can be adsorbed and fixed; meanwhile, layering caused by geological sedimentation or rain wash can be avoided.
