The invention relates to the technical field of road traffic, and provides a road surface transition connecting device which comprises a top plate, a variable rigidity supporting structure and a rigidity adjusting structure. The top surface of the variable stiffness supporting structure is connected to the bottom surface of the top plate; the rigidity of the variable-rigidity supporting structure is gradually reduced in the longitudinal direction of the top plate; the rigidity adjusting structure is located on the side, with the small rigidity, of the variable-rigidity supporting structure. The top surface of the rigidity adjusting structure is connected to the bottom surface of the top plate; the rigidity adjusting structure comprises an elastic element and is used for adjusting the rigidity of the side, with the small rigidity, of the road surface transition connecting device. By using the road surface transition connecting device, the defect of bumping at a bridge head caused by rapid change of rigidity between the road surface and a bridge or between two sections of roads can be solved.
