The invention discloses a water flow impact force self-expansion type river channel breach plugging method which is characterized in that a plugging pipeline which can be pulled and is of a multi-section sleeve type pipeline structure is put into a river channel along the water flow direction on an embankment at the upstream end of a breach, and the upper end of the plugging pipeline is fixedly connected to the upstream end of the breach; the plugging pipeline is impacted by river water in a river channel so that the sleeves can be automatically unfolded, the tail sleeve exceeds the breach position, reaches the downstream end of the breach and can be limited to the inner side walls of the embankment at the two ends of the breach due to impact of leaked water flow at the breach, and breach plugging is achieved. The method is suitable for the situation that the watercourse breach is long, and plugging of the large breach can be rapidly and reliably completed. The method has the advantages of high plugging construction efficiency, good stability and reliability and the like.
