The invention discloses a non-unhooking dynamic compactor and a working method thereof.The non-unhooking dynamic compactor comprises a rack, a winch arranged on the rack and a suspension arm hinged to one side of the rack, a fixed pulley is arranged at the top end of the suspension arm, a plurality of rope pressing devices are arranged in the length direction of the suspension arm, and each rope pressing device comprises a winding part, a locking part, a clutch driving part and a control part; one end of the steel wire rope extends out of the winch, sequentially bypasses the winding part of each rope pressing device on the suspension arm, then bypasses the fixed pulley and is connected to the top end of the rammer; the rammer further comprises a master control system which controls the rope pressing device to release the steel wire rope larger than the ramming depth before the winch brakes and the rammer makes contact with the ground, so that the requirement for the ramming depth h is met, the durability of the braking system is improved, and the use cost is reduced.
