The invention discloses a primary and secondary beam connecting joint capable of controlling the thickness of a cast-in-place floor and a construction method thereof, and relates to a building construction component and a construction method thereof, the connecting joint comprises a primary beam, a secondary beam and a primary and secondary beam steel bar connecting device, and the primary beam comprises a primary beam longitudinal steel bar, a primary beam stirrup and the like; the secondary beams comprise secondary beam longitudinal steel bars, secondary beam stirrups and the like; the main and secondary beam steel bar connecting device comprises connecting steel bars and connectors. The connector comprises a connecting block, a threaded sleeve connected to the two ends of the connecting block and a T-shaped connecting key, the threaded sleeve is connected with the two ends of the connecting steel bar, and the T-shaped connecting key is fixedly connected with the secondary beam longitudinal steel bar.
