The invention provides a glass clamping mechanism for building decoration. A first butt-joint strip of a butt-joint piece is inserted into a butt-joint groove in one end of a bottom plate, and a second butt-joint strip is inserted into a butt-joint groove in one end of an adjacent bottom plate; the slopes of the adjacent bottom plates are attached, and the bottom plates are sequentially connected end to end to form a polygonal bottom frame. The shape and the size of the supporting edge are matched with those of glass; the pressing frame is pressed on the glass and detachably connected with the bottom frame. The bottom frame has the advantages that all the edges do not need to be manually and repeatedly adjusted in the installation process, the installation difficulty is greatly reduced, the installation speed is increased, the four bottom plates are firmly connected together under the action of the butt joint pieces, installation is easier and more convenient, the bottom frame is sequentially formed through the four bottom plates end to end, and the installation efficiency is improved. In the later period, each damaged part can be conveniently and independently replaced, the cost is greatly saved, and meanwhile later maintenance is facilitated.
