The invention discloses a garbage cleaning method and device for an unmanned sweeper and the unmanned sweeper, the unmanned sweeper comprises a radar sensor and an image sensor, and the method comprises the steps that when the unmanned sweeper reaches a target area containing a garbage can, the image sensor is adopted to obtain coordinate information of the garbage can; converting the coordinate information into radar coordinate information of a radar sensor; a radar sensor is adopted to scan the position corresponding to the radar coordinate information so as to obtain point cloud data of the dustbin; determining the movement direction of the unmanned sweeper according to the point cloud data; the unmanned sweeper is controlled to move towards the garbage can according to the movement direction, manual garbage cleaning of the unmanned sweeper is not needed, the labor cost is saved, and meanwhile the garbage cleaning efficiency of the unmanned sweeper is improved; and the radar sensor and the image sensor are combined to obtain the moving direction of the unmanned sweeper towards the garbage can, so that the accuracy of aligning to the garbage can can be better improved.
