Glued truss joists, joints and methods are provided comprising two chords, a lower chord (1) and an upper chord (2) being spaced apart from each other and two elongate webs (3, 4) being located between the chords. The upper end of the web is connected in the upper chord (2) and the lower end of the web is connected in the lower chord (1). The lower end of the web has at least one tenon finger (21) and the lower chord (1) has a mating mortise path (20). The tenon fingers (21) are inserted using glue to form joints to resist forces and moments in the joist, and the chord path (20) passes through the chord.
