The invention discloses a method for dismantling an arch bridge without a tower buckle cable, which comprises the following steps of: firstly, dismantling an arch accessory structure, a bridge deck slab and a bent frame according to the principle of top-to-bottom, longitudinal and transverse overall symmetry; secondly, temporary buckle cables are installed on the arch rib plates and tensioned; removing a top plate, a bottom plate and an arch rib plate of the arch rib; after the arch crown plate and the bottom plate are dismantled, the temporary buckle cables are adjusted again, the cable force is tensioned, the arch ribs are symmetrically and sequentially dismantled through pre-lifting of the floating crane, the temporary buckle cables are removed, and dismantling of the main arch is completed; and finally, the main pier is cut into small blocks to be hoisted and dismantled, finally, the overwater pier is dismantled, the overwater part is hoisted and dismantled after being cut, and the underwater part is directly cracked and cleaned.
