The invention provides a guardrail construction method and a modular UHPC bridge guardrail. The reserved anchoring ribs on the edge of the bridge plate are used for clamping the UHPC module, and the UHPC module is fixed to the cast-in-place layer of the bridge floor; and concrete is cast in place through the hollow interlayer of the UHPC module, the protection strength is provided, and the connection strength between the UHPC module and the reserved anchoring ribs is kept. The UHPC module is directly used as the cast-in-place shaping formwork, and the formwork structure does not need to be dismantled. The UHPC module serves as a cast-in-place shaping formwork and does not need to be supported by an external structure, and therefore construction of a bridge pavement layer and a dripping eave cannot be affected in the pouring process of the UHPC module. Therefore, the problems that bridge concrete guardrail construction procedures interfere with one another, the construction period is long, and construction is inconvenient are solved through the hollow UHPC module, the construction technology can be simplified, the construction period is shortened, a mature cast-in-place construction method is replaced, and the bridge operation safety protection requirement is met.
