The invention relates to the technical field of structural engineering, in particular to an inhaul cable two-way vibration control fluid inerter damping system which comprises stand columns, a cross beam arranged above the stand columns and fluid inerter assemblies symmetrically arranged at the ends of the cross beam. The fluid inerter assembly comprises a cylinder body filled with viscous fluid, a piston rod and a pipeline used for transmitting the viscous fluid. The end, away from the cylinder body, of the piston rod is movably connected with the inhaul cable body, and the end, away from the piston rod, of the cylinder body is movably connected with the side, away from the stand column, of the beam. The two ends of the pipeline are connected with the side face of the cylinder body, and the middle of the pipeline is movably connected with the cross beam. When the inhaul cable body vibrates, the inhaul cable body drives the piston rod to move relative to the cylinder body, further, the piston rod extrudes the viscous fluid, the viscous fluid penetrates through the gap between the piston rod and the cylinder body and flows in the pipeline, in-plane and out-plane damping and inerter effects on the inhaul cable body are achieved, and the vibration suppression effect is achieved.
