The method comprises the following steps: obtaining a detection index judgment vector based on a transmission tower basic detection index; carrying out sensitivity analysis on the bearing capacity of various transmission tower foundations according to the detection indexes to obtain an evaluation weight coefficient for the reliability influence of the transmission tower foundations; taking the product of the evaluation weight coefficient and the detection index judgment vector as a bearing capacity reliability distribution vector in different limit states; determining an evaluation grade score value of the bearing capacity reliability of the transmission tower foundation by taking a minimum value of the reliability distribution vectors in different limit states; and establishing a power transmission tower foundation bearing capacity reliability evaluation grade according to the evaluation grade score value of the power transmission tower foundation bearing capacity reliability. The power transmission tower foundation reliability evaluation method is established and formed, so that the power transmission tower foundation bearing capacity reliability weakening degree is rapidly determined.
