The invention relates to the technical field of ocean engineering, and particularly discloses a large suction bucket jacket hoisting method which is characterized in that when a jacket is hoisted, a crane ship and a semi-submerged ship are matched for operation, and controllable sinking of the jacket is ensured by utilizing buoyancy generated in the sinking process of the suction bucket jacket; in the process, the suction bucket jacket can be smoothly sunk to the seabed only by providing small lifting force by the crane ship, the lifting force provided by the crane ship does not need to be increased in the whole process, and a new method is provided for lifting construction of the large suction bucket jacket through the scheme that the crane ship and the semi-submerged ship are matched for operation. A crane ship and a semi-submerged ship which can be suitable for the method are easy to obtain, in the operation window period, the hoisting construction amount can be greatly increased, the situation of construction period delay is effectively avoided, meanwhile, due to the fact that the structure of the suction bucket jacket is ingeniously utilized in the method, an additional floating body structure is not introduced, and the hoisting operation efficiency is further improved.
