A reinforced phase of the composite material is a continuous silicon carbide fiber fabric, a matrix main phase is mullite, and a matrix contains one or more of aluminum oxide and silicon oxide; the silicon carbide fiber fabric is a 2.5-dimensional woven part, and the mass content of mullite in a matrix is greater than 50%; the fiber volume fraction in the composite material is not less than 30%; the continuous silicon carbide fiber reinforced mullite-based composite material disclosed by the invention has excellent high-temperature resistance and mechanical properties, and the matrix raw materials are low in price and wide in source. By adjusting the preparation mode of the mullite precursor solution, the matrix components of the composite material are regulated and controlled, the mechanical properties of the continuous silicon carbide fiber reinforced mullite-based composite material are further controlled, the technological process is simple, and the continuous silicon carbide fiber reinforced mullite-based composite material can be used for forming large complex components and is easy to industrially produce and apply.
