The embodiment of the invention provides a single-column-pier steel cover beam structure and a construction method thereof.The single-column-pier steel cover beam structure comprises a single-column pier, a left pair of steel cover beams and a right pair of steel cover beams, the two pairs of steel cover beams are arranged on the upper portion of the single-column pier through annular hoops, and each annular hoop comprises two oppositely-arranged steel cylinder bodies with semicircular cross sections; the two steel cylinder bodies are correspondingly arranged on the two pairs of left and right steel cover beams, and the two pairs of left and right steel cover beams sleeve the upper part of the single-column pier through annular hoops; mounting grooves are formed in the outer walls of the single-column piers, reinforcing steel bars of the single-column piers are exposed out of the bottoms of the mounting grooves, protrusions are arranged at the positions, corresponding to the mounting grooves, of the outer walls of the steel cylinder bodies in a protruding mode, the protrusions are embedded into the mounting grooves, so that the annular hoop is hung on the single-column piers, and the two steel cylinder bodies are connected through bolts to form an annular hoop structure. The single-column pier steel cover beam structure has the advantages of being high in stability, capable of achieving factory prefabrication and field assembly and convenient to construct.
