A prestressed fiber cloth tensioning system applied to bridge reinforcing construction relates to a bridge reinforcing method and comprises a fixing mechanism, fiber cloth and a tensioning mechanism. The fixing mechanism comprises a thin steel plate and two groups of pressing tools; the tensioning mechanism comprises a tensioning fixing base, a counter-force block, a jack, a circular shaft, a lead screw and a pressing plate. The jack is connected between the tensioning fixing seat and the counter-force block, a tensioning stroke groove is formed in the tensioning fixing seat, the circular shaft is arranged in the tensioning stroke groove, and the circular shaft is connected with the counter-force block through a lead screw; a pressing plate is arranged on one side of the tensioning fixing base and connected with the tensioning fixing base through a support. A pressing strip is arranged between the pressing plate and the tensioning fixing seat; one end of the fiber cloth is pressed between the thin steel plate and the bridge, the fiber cloth is pressed by the pressing tool, the fiber cloth passes through the pressing plate and the pressing strip and then bypasses the circular shaft, and the other end of the fiber cloth passes through the pressing strip and the pressing plate. And in the tensioning process of the fiber cloth, the phenomena of collapse and slippage are avoided.
