The invention relates to a portable foldable protective fence for a reserved hole of a highway engineering bridge. The fence comprises a fence base, a plurality of horizontal supports, a pair of vertical supporting rods and a folding device. The horizontal supports are connected with the folding device to form a fence folding frame structure, and the horizontal support on the bottom layer is connected with the fence base. Four fixing steel rings fixed to the surface of a bridge are evenly distributed on the periphery of the fence base. The vertical supporting rods are symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the horizontal support, the top of each vertical supporting rod is provided with a pair of hooks, and the bottom of each vertical supporting rod is provided with a steel ring. The hook is hooked on the horizontal bracket on the top layer; and the steel ring is mounted on the horizontal bracket at the bottom layer. The device is safe, reliable, convenient and practical, and can be suitable for all hole protection conditions which are not suitable for horizontal covering and shielding.
