An assembly type beam column joint for I-shaped steel weak shaft connection comprises an I-shaped steel column, an I-shaped steel beam and a connecting piece. The I-shaped steel beams are fixedly connected to the I-shaped steel columns through connecting pieces; the connecting piece comprises channel steel and angle steel; the channel steel is fixedly arranged on a web of the I-shaped steel column, and the I-shaped steel beam is fixed on the channel steel through angle steel. Machining and installation are easy and fast. Components needed by node construction can be machined in a factory, the machining process is simple, and all the components are regular in structure and convenient to transport. Bolt connection is adopted in the connection mode, welding work is not needed in the construction site, the labor cost and the technical threshold are remarkably reduced, and the engineering construction period is shortened.
