The invention discloses a sliding installation method for a single truss of a roof steel structure, and belongs to the technical field of truss installation. An assembly table and a sliding mechanism are built on one side of the top face of a bearing beam column of a building, a sliding rail is built on the inner wall of the bearing beam column, a supporting base is installed on the sliding rail, and a main truss is clamped to the supporting base after being welded on the assembly table; the supporting seats are slowly pushed through the sliding mechanism, so that the main trusses move forwards, then the sliding mechanism contracts, a supporting seat is installed on the sliding rail again, a main truss is assembled and welded again and clamped to a new supporting seat, then the secondary truss is welded between the two main trusses at the assembly table, the supporting seats are pushed through the sliding mechanism, and the secondary trusses are assembled and welded to the secondary trusses. The welded main truss and the welded secondary truss are made to move forwards in a sliding mode; and the operation is repeated, the multiple single trusses are assembled and welded one by one at the assembly table and slide forwards one by one till the roof truss slides in place, then the trusses and the bearing beam columns are fixed, and the supporting bases, the sliding rails and the assembly table are disassembled.
