The invention discloses a dual-mode roll type fireproof curtain which comprises a housing, a rotating shaft mechanism, fireproof curtain cloth, a gravity supporting rod, a rotation limiting mechanism, a hand-operating mechanism, a smoke sensing element and a control panel assembly, the rotating shaft mechanism is arranged in the housing in the mode that the axis is transversely arranged, one end of the fireproof curtain cloth is connected with the gravity supporting rod and wound on the rotating shaft mechanism in a rolling mode, and the other end of the fireproof curtain cloth is connected with the gravity supporting rod. The rotation limiting mechanism is arranged in the housing and connected with the rotating shaft mechanism, the manual mechanism is connected with the rotating shaft mechanism, the smoke sensing element is arranged on the housing, and the control panel assembly is electrically connected with the smoke sensing element and the rotation limiting mechanism. The gravity supporting rod is arranged to be matched with the rotating shaft mechanism, so that the fireproof curtain cloth has an automatic releasing function of a physical structure, meanwhile, the rotation limiting mechanism automatically triggered by the smoke sensing element relieves rotation limitation on the rotating shaft mechanism in time in the case of a fire disaster, the fireproof curtain cloth is rapidly released to shield a window, and the fire blocking effect is achieved; and a manual mechanism is arranged to replace a conventional curtain for use.
