The invention belongs to the technical field of ceramic preparation, and particularly relates to a lithium-free thermal shock resistant ceramic material and a preparation method thereof.The preparation method comprises the following steps that titanium dioxide, aluminum oxide powder, quartz powder, filler and deionized water are mixed to be uniform, and first ceramic slurry is obtained; drying the first ceramic slurry to obtain ceramic prefabricated powder; pressing the ceramic prefabricated powder into blocks, and presintering to obtain a prefabricated body; grinding and mixing the preform, a binder and deionized water to obtain second ceramic slurry; carrying out spray granulation on the second ceramic slurry, and pressing to obtain a ceramic green body; and sintering the ceramic green body to obtain the lithium-free thermal shock resistant ceramic material.
