The invention discloses a Gaussian curved surface bare concrete construction formwork supporting system and method in a coastal environment. The supporting system comprises a socket and spigot type disc buckle supporting frame and a fair-faced formwork wood back ridge system above the socket and spigot type disc buckle supporting frame. The supporting frame comprises a vertical rod, a transverse rod, an inclined rod and a horizontal diagonal bridging, and an adjustable jacking is arranged at the upper end of the vertical rod; the fair-faced formwork wood back ridge system comprises a wood I-shaped beam serving as a main ridge, an arc-shaped wood back ridge serving as a secondary ridge, a panel, a lining plate and an opposite-pull screw. The wood I-shaped beam is placed on the upper portion of the adjustable jacking, and an arc-shaped wood back ridge is arranged at the upper end of the wood I-shaped beam in the Gaussian curved surface arch roll construction direction.
