The invention discloses a high-performance tile adhesive and a preparation method thereof.The high-performance tile adhesive is prepared from 360 kg of cement, 617 kg of quartz sand, 12.5 kg of latex powder, 6 kg of calcium formate, 3-4.5 kg of cellulose and 0.5 kg of starch ether.The preparation method includes the specific steps that the cement and the quartz sand are weighed through equipment according to a production formula and added into a stirring tank, and stirring is started at the same time; manually weighing the latex powder, the calcium formate, the cellulose and the starch ether, adding into a stirring tank, and stirring for 5 minutes after all the raw materials are added; sampling and testing, wherein the water-cement ratio is 0.25: 1; and testing the appearance, packaging after the constructability is qualified, and stacking by a manipulator. The ceramic tile adhesive is excellent in water-retaining property, and can be used on site only by adding water according to a specified proportion and stirring; after being uniformly stirred, the paint is scraped by a gear knife, so that the paint is smooth in hand feeling and better in operability; drying and curing are fast, and the tensile adhesive strength reaches 0.5 MPa or above within 7 days when people walk after tiling is conducted for 12-24 H; after being dried and solidified, the ceramic tile is basically not shrunk or cracked, and hollowing and falling of the ceramic tile are effectively prevented.
