The invention discloses machine-made sand self-compacting concrete and a preparation method thereof.The machine-made sand self-compacting concrete is prepared from, by weight, 700 parts to 800 parts of gravel, 700 parts to 800 parts of machine-made sand, 665 parts to 695 parts of cement, 165 parts to 185 parts of fly ash, 470 parts to 500 parts of water-quenched copper slag, 400 parts to 420 parts of water, 9 parts to 10 parts of water reducing agents and 0 to 2 parts of tackifiers; the content of silicon dioxide is 29-37%, the content of ferrous oxide is 41-54%, the apparent density is 3470 kg/m < 3 >, the apparent density of the self-compacting concrete is not lower than 2200 kg/m < 3 >, and the strength is not lower than 50 MPa. The preparation method is simple in process and few in raw material variety, and the prepared machine-made sand self-compacting concrete can have good working performance and mechanical performance and is convenient to transport and pump for construction.
