A steel structure type overhanging support applied to a high-rise building comprises an upper supporting beam, the upper supporting beam comprises transverse angle iron, a plurality of longitudinal overhanging I-shaped steel is fixed to the outer side wall of the angle iron, a plurality of vertical steel supporting columns abut against the bottom face of the inner side of the angle iron, and inclined supporting frames are arranged on the positions, between the adjacent steel supporting columns, of the angle iron. The inclined supporting frame comprises an inclined first square pipe, the upper end of the main square pipe is inserted between two vertical supporting plates, the supporting plates are welded and fixed to angle iron, the upper end of the first square pipe is hinged to the supporting plates through bolt assemblies, and inclined second square pipes are hinged to the middle portion and the lower portion of the first square pipe through bolt assemblies. According to the cantilever support, the I-shaped steel serves as a supporting body, but the I-shaped steel is arranged between the floors of the high-rise building through the supporting frames and the steel supporting columns, and the cantilever support is convenient to install, small in safety risk and convenient to disassemble, recycle and reuse.
