The invention discloses a drilling device for geotechnical engineering investigation and a using method, the drilling device comprises a moving box, a drilling machine, moving wheels, a pushing handle, an access hole, a sealing door, a cavity, a positioning assembly and a cleaning assembly, the drilling machine is arranged in the moving box, and the tops of the moving wheels are fixedly connected with the bottom of the moving box; the right side of the pushing handle is fixedly connected with the left side of the moving box, and the access hole is formed in the top of the drilling machine. Through cooperative use of the moving box, the drilling machine, the moving wheels, the pushing handle, the access hole, the sealing door, the cavity, the positioning assembly and the cleaning assembly, the sealing door can be positioned through the positioning assembly, meanwhile, the sealing door is opened through the positioning assembly, and therefore good cleaning is achieved; and secondly, soil generated by drilling is cleaned through the cleaning assembly, and the problems that in the prior art, the overhauling effect is poor, and the drilling hole is blocked are solved.
