The invention relates to the technical field of highway construction, and discloses a crack repairing device for highway construction, which comprises a movable base, the material barrel is fixedly mounted above the movable base; the stirring shaft and the stirring frame are rotationally connected in the material barrel, a plurality of through holes are formed in the stirring frame, and heating rings are installed at the through holes in a penetrating mode; the driving assembly is in transmission connection with the stirring shaft; the inlet end of the asphalt pump is connected with the material barrel through a first connecting pipe, and the outlet end of the asphalt pump is connected with the spraying head through a second connecting pipe; the power source, the heating ring, the asphalt pump and the driving assembly are electrically connected with the control unit. On the other hand, the invention further discloses a repairing method based on the device. The heating efficiency of the heating ring in the material barrel in the crack repairing device can be improved, and the phenomena of dry burning and slow heat conduction are avoided.
