The invention discloses an intelligent remote water consumption control system based on the Internet of Things, belongs to the field of remote water consumption control, relates to the Internet of Things technology, and comprises a user floor branch water supply pipe, a switch valve, an intelligent remote water meter, an energy consumption monitoring platform and a user management terminal. A bottom layer intelligent remote water meter is used for obtaining basic user water consumption information, and obtained water consumption data is sent to an energy consumption monitoring platform for intelligent processing; the intelligent processing comprises intelligent control of single-time water consumption duration and single-time water consumption, a single-time water consumption set value and a single-time allowable length are set according to habits of users, and when the single-time water consumption duration or the single-time water consumption exceeds the single-time water consumption set value and the single-time allowable length, different water consumption habits of all the users are considered, the water consumption of all the users can be controlled according to the intelligent control of the single-time water consumption duration and the single-time allowable length. The energy consumption monitoring platform gives an alarm through the user management terminal, and intelligently controls to turn off the electric valve when no response is given, so that waste of water resources is avoided, and meanwhile, user cost increase caused by long-time waste of the water resources is also prevented.
