The parallel hinge comprises two hinge rods hinged to each other, one end of one hinge rod is hinged to the window frame, the other end of the hinge rod is slidably connected with the first sliding block, the first sliding block is slidably connected with the first sliding rail, the first sliding rail is installed on the window sash, one end of the other hinge rod is hinged to the window sash, and the other end of the hinge rod is hinged to the second sliding block. The second sliding block is in sliding connection with the second sliding rail, and the second sliding rail is installed on the window frame. The driving mechanism comprises two driving strips, the two driving strips are installed on two driving sliding rails in a sliding mode respectively, the driving sliding rails are installed on the left side and the right side of the window frame, the driving strips can drive the driving columns to slide in sliding grooves in one ends of hinge rods of the parallel hinges, and therefore the parallel hinges can be driven to stretch out and draw back so that the window sash can be opened or closed. Meanwhile, the window sash can be locked when the window sash is closed, an electric lock does not need to be additionally arranged, and meanwhile the failure rate is reduced.
