The invention discloses a construction method of a length-adjustable movable temporary temporary steel bridge, which comprises the following steps of: transversely splicing a plurality of bailey beam units side by side to form a temporary steel bridge main body according to the maximum transverse width of a top beam of a foundation pit; then the temporary steel bridge body is erected on the surface of the top beam, and then connection construction of the temporary steel bridge body and the surface of the foundation pit is conducted; the temporary steel bridge is moved from the surface of the foundation pit crown beam with the large transverse width to the surface of the foundation pit crown beam with the small transverse width, when the temporary steel bridge is moved, a connecting structure of a temporary steel bridge body and the surface of the foundation pit is removed firstly, then the temporary steel bridge is lifted till the bottom face of the temporary steel bridge is higher than the surface of the foundation pit, then a guide rail is laid on the surface of the foundation pit, and the temporary steel bridge is lowered to the guide rail; and then the bailey beam units at the two ends of the temporary steel bridge body are dismantled, then the guide rails are dismantled, the temporary steel bridge body is lowered to the surface of the top beam, and finally connection construction of the temporary steel bridge body and the surface of the foundation pit is completed. The temporary steel bridge has the effect of improving the installation efficiency of the temporary steel bridge.
