The invention discloses a cast-in-place bent cap truss type reinforcing structure and a construction method thereof.The cast-in-place bent cap truss type reinforcing structure comprises two truss structures which are fixed to the two sides of a pier body correspondingly and arranged below a bailey beam structure in the extending direction of the bailey beam structure, and each truss structure comprises a cross beam, an inclined strut, a supporting rod and a connecting beam; the cross beam is arranged in the extending direction of the bailey beam structure, the four inclined struts are obliquely connected to the cross beam and form two symmetrical triangular supporting structures, the two supporting rods are supported in the two triangular supporting structures respectively, one end of each supporting rod is fixed to the cross beam, and the other end of each supporting rod is connected with the intersection of the two inclined struts in the corresponding triangular supporting structure; the two ends of the connecting beam are connected with the vertexes of the two triangular supporting structures correspondingly. According to the method, most of the steps of high-altitude operation are omitted, and the safety in the construction process is effectively improved; the truss structure is high in stability, a good reinforcing effect can be achieved, and the stability and strength of the whole bridge are improved.
