The invention discloses an electro-hydrostatic actuator system of an electric excavator and engineering machinery, and relates to the technical field of actuators. The problem of heating of the motor during inverse loading can be solved. The electro-hydrostatic actuator system comprises a controller, a motor driver electrically connected to the controller, a bidirectional variable-speed servo motor electrically connected to the motor driver, an electric energy storage device electrically connected to the bidirectional variable-speed servo motor, and a bidirectional hydraulic pump in transmission connection to the bidirectional variable-speed servo motor. The three-oil-cavity symmetrical hydraulic cylinder is connected to the two-way hydraulic pump. The bidirectional hydraulic pump is provided with a first oil port and a second oil port. The three-oil-cavity symmetrical hydraulic cylinder is provided with a first oil cavity, a second oil cavity and a third oil cavity. The first oil port is connected to the first oil cavity through a first pipeline. The second oil port is connected to the second oil cavity through a second pipeline. The hydraulic energy storage device is connected to the third oil cavity through a third pipeline. When the three-oil-cavity symmetrical hydraulic cylinder extends, the first oil cavity shrinks, and the second oil cavity and the third oil cavity expand.
