According to the excavation control system, a positioning device, an angle measuring instrument and an excavation control device are further arranged on the large open caisson posture monitoring system in a matched mode. The open caisson monitoring system provided by the invention can monitor the sinking amount of each control point of the open caisson in real time, the pose of the open caisson is solved in real time according to a built-in algorithm, and the monitoring system is stable, high in precision and high in monitoring efficiency. Besides, the excavation control system provided by the invention is matched with the result of the monitoring system, adjusts the soil sampling area and the soil sampling amount in the open caisson in real time, comprehensively controls the sinking of the open caisson, and can improve the construction quality control level.
