The invention belongs to the technical field of water supply systems, and particularly relates to a device and a method for flushing sediments in a water inlet pipe of a shoreside type multi-water-level combined water taking pump room. The device comprises a pump station forebay in the water intake pump station, a water intake pump group, a self-flowing water inlet pipe, a back-flushing header pipe, a back-flushing pipe, a control system, a monitoring system and a flushing bolt. The device can adapt to different water taking water level changes, and flushing of the water inlet pipe under various water taking water level working conditions is achieved by controlling valve switching.
