The invention discloses a method for slope finding of a roof outfall. The method comprises the steps that (1) a roof waterproof layer is constructed, and an isolation layer is arranged; (2) selecting a slope finding tool with a matched cross section; (3) determining the height of a grade change point; (4) mounting a reinforcing mesh; (5) a slope finding tool is manufactured and installed; (6) arranging an inner plug-in and completing elevation; and (7) constructing a steep slope surface and a gentle slope surface inside and outside the slope finding tool respectively. The invention further discloses a slope finding tool used for the slope finding method. According to the technical scheme, the slope making tool is arranged and serves as a pouring formwork during construction, the problem that fine surface finishing needs to be conducted after initial setting when different slope ratios are formed during slope making is solved, the problems that concrete flows and is not fixed due to different slope making gradients are solved, one-time pouring and simultaneous surface finishing are achieved, and the construction efficiency is improved. And slope surfaces with different slope ratios can be respectively formed inside and outside the slope finding tool, so that the purpose of improving the construction efficiency is achieved.
