The invention relates to an assembling method of a constant-force friction damper. The assembling method at least comprises the following steps that a damper pull rod is inserted into an inner cavity of a damper shell from an opening of the damper shell; the corresponding friction blocks and the pressing blocks are arranged in the corresponding clamping grooves of the damper shell in pairs on the two narrow sides and the two wide sides; the damper sleeve sleeves the outer side of the damper shell, and the damper sleeve and the damper shell are fixed; the second compression bolts penetrate through the second pressing blocks in the damper sleeve joint clamping grooves on the two wide sides, and then the first compression bolts penetrate through the first pressing blocks in the damper sleeve joint clamping grooves on the two narrow sides, so that the pull rod keeps equal distances from the inner cavity on the two wide sides and the two narrow sides in the inner cavity; the second compression bolts are pre-tightened on the two wide sides to have the same compression force, and the first compression bolts are pre-tightened on the two narrow sides to have the same compression force. Therefore, the four sides of the damper can evenly bear the pretightening force of the compression bolts, it is guaranteed that each compression bolt meets the pretightening force requirement, the pretightening force is transmitted to the corresponding friction blocks on the four sides, and the situation that the pretightening force is insufficient is effectively solved.
