Method for thermally stabilizing permafrost
The present invention relates to the field of construction and more particularly to means for achieving thermal stabilization by freezing the soil by using a refrigerator and powering said refrigerator through a solar energy converter and protecting the soil from solar radiation and atmospheric precipitation (minimizing the supply of external heat). In the claimed method, the subterranean probe is arranged parallel to the surface of the soil at a depth less than the natural thawing depth of the soil, thereby forming a near-surface barrier layer that prevents in-depth penetration of heat from the environment. Unlike natural conditions in which an increase in solar radiation intensity results in a stronger thawing, the proposed method enables more heat to dissipate from the soil. The technical result of the invention is to prevent unfreezing of permafrost in the context of climate warming without the need for external energy supply.
