The invention provides an adjustable saddle-shaped vertical bracket for a bridge horizontal inhaul cable, which comprises a base, the top of the base is a double-arc curved surface, the surface of the base is coated with a protective surface layer, and the two transverse ends of the base are provided with connecting plate parts; the two lower supports are arranged below the two connecting plate parts of the base respectively, the top of each lower support is connected with the corresponding connecting plate part through a set of connecting pieces, and the bottom of each lower support is fixedly arranged on the bridge floor; each group of connecting pieces comprises a base plate, an adjusting backing ring, a rubber gasket, a square gasket, a screw rod, a nut and a U-shaped gasket, and when the adjusting backing ring is rotated, the adjusting backing ring drives the base plate, the rubber gasket, the square gasket and the connecting plate part to ascend and descend together; the U-shaped gasket is used for being placed in or taken out of a gap between the base plate and the top of the lower support in the lifting process so as to adjust the height of the base. The vertical bracket has the advantages that the local pressure of the contact surface is small, the durability is high, the pressure-bearing surface is smooth, and the height is adjustable.
