The method comprises the following steps: step 1, marking a height difference to-be-adjusted area of a petal platform plate; 2, a height difference adjusting tool is arranged in a height difference to-be-adjusted area of the petal platform plate; 3, petal platform plates and secondary beams are cut; step 4, elevation adjustment and measurement; 5, welding the secondary beam and the steel plate; and step 6, retesting. The method is scientific and reasonable in design, the height difference of the steel platform can be effectively corrected after a steel structure building main body is constructed and a steel structure floor platform support is dismantled, the maximum height difference of the platform can be controlled within +/-3 cm, and the structural quality of the steel platform is guaranteed.
