The invention relates to a damper assembly, a damper housing assembly, and an opening and closing assembly, and provides a technology for using a one-way linear damper as a two-way linear damper with a simpler structure. The damper assembly includes a linear damper, a housing member, a first restricting member, and a second restricting member. The linear damper comprises a cylinder barrel and a piston rod, and damping force is generated when the piston rod retracts. The housing member houses the linear damper such that the cylinder tube and the piston rod can move in the axial direction with respect to the housing member. The first restricting member restricts movement of the cylinder tube with respect to the housing member when the piston rod receives a force toward the cylinder tube side. The second restricting member restricts the movement of the piston rod with respect to the housing member when the cylinder receives a force toward the piston rod side.
