A drainage support system for a solar photovoltaic panel disclosed by the present invention comprises a photovoltaic panel unit and a support base, the photovoltaic panel unit comprises a photovoltaic panel, and a longitudinal frame and a transverse frame which wrap the edge of the photovoltaic panel, and the support base is provided with a bearing edge. The longitudinal frames are borne on the bearing edges in the longitudinal direction of the supporting base, and the two transverse frames of the adjacent photovoltaic panel units are in lap joint with each other to form a waterproof structure for preventing rainwater from infiltrating from a gap between the two transverse frames. The supporting base is provided with a drainage supporting piece which is used for supporting the two adjacent transverse frames and can receive infiltrated rainwater to drain the infiltrated rainwater. The structure has the advantages of being convenient to install, capable of reducing cost, capable of improving the strength and stability of the transverse frame and good in waterproof and seepage-stopping effect.
