The invention discloses a prefabricated ring main unit foundation which comprises a pre-embedded seat, an electric well seat is in contact with the upper end of the pre-embedded seat, a foundation pipe is slidably connected into the electric well seat, an end cover is in contact with the foundation pipe, a pull ring seat is in contact with the end cover, a limiting mechanism is arranged on the end cover, and a threaded pipe is fixedly connected into the pre-embedded seat. A bolt is connected into the threaded pipe through threads and makes contact with the electric well base, and a screw is movably connected into the foundation pipe and is connected with the electric well base through threads. The invention relates to a prefabricated ring main unit foundation and a construction method thereof. The prefabricated ring main unit foundation has the advantages that the overall height of the foundation can be adjusted according to the construction environment, and sundries can be prevented from entering an electric well base.
