The invention discloses a construction method for reducing internal cracking of mass concrete, which aims at internal cracking caused by temperature difference, and comprises the following steps: primary pouring: adding a retarder into concrete, and pouring a first layer of concrete; secondary pouring is conducted, specifically, pouring of a second layer of concrete is conducted without adding the retarder and the coagulant into the concrete; finally, the concrete is initially set to form the concrete bottom plate. The method has the beneficial effects that the retarder and the coagulant are added into the interlayers, so that the adjacent layers are simultaneously coagulated, the adjacent layers synchronously release heat to reduce the temperature difference of adjacent parts, the temperature difference in the mass concrete is reduced by the method, and the performance of the mass concrete is improved.
